Self Directed #1

I did my self directed project on long exposure photography. I used a tripod, slow shutter speed, and low ISO to get these pictures. For the clouds I used an ND filter, and for the light graffiti I used a Lite Brite.

  1. hi ali! you have a good description and very nice pictures, i like that you took pictures of many different subjects with a slow shutter speed. my favorite one is the light graffiti one because it is abstract and i like lights a lot. You did a good job of creating contrast there. my least favorite is the clouds i think because there isn't that much movement. nice photos ali !

  2. They did long exposure photos. You can clearly see that they were doing. All the pictures are matching the discretion. My favorite picture is the waterfall picture, it’s at a good angle and you can tell what they were doing just because of the water. The one didn't like as much was the second light photo. I think it was good but it would be cooler with some other colors or just one color. good job though!(:

  3. Yes the description makes sense; she did her project on light exposure. Overall the photos are well done; she did a good job with the lite brite photo and street photo. I like the silhouette of the trees, and how the road lines lead off into the distance with the light. My favorite picture is lite bright. I like the use of multi colors and the abstract design she made. My least favorite picture is the cloud picture. The lack of wind in the sky wasn’t strong enough in the clouds to make them move.

  4. The description given matches what the topic and theme of the pictures is. The slow exposures were really well taken and not over exposed. Overall, all the pictures were well taken and really showed slow shutter speeds and the effects. I really liked the first picture of the waterfall and how the shutter speed made it seem kind of whispy. The one that was my least favorite would be the clouds one because it seemed kind of blurry. The clouds would have been moving for sure, but I think because they wasn’t long enough, the clouds look kind of blurry instead of a moving good blur.

  5. Ali,
A nice variety of slow shutter speed shots. I'm happy you trued some different subjects and techniques. The waterfall looks good if a bit overexposed. The clouds could have used a slightly longer shutter speed. I really like how the light bright turned out...that's the first light bright graffiti I've seen and I think its a great way to do it since you can vary the pattern and colors. Overall, nice work if a little safe...46/50
